I reached out an arm,
to touch you,
but you shrugged me away
when I tried to talk to you,
you did'nt listen to what I had to say
sure you answered back,
told me what I wanted to hear
but nothing changed,
it all stayed the same,
and thats what I had feared
You no longer respect me,
or care for me the way you used to
you've lost interest,
but are affraid to admit what you have become used to
it's taken a lot of effort over these last couple of years,
trying to get things back the way they were
but now I'm tired, and out of ideas,
my heart has given in today
We once shared such passion,
such love like I'd never imagined
such a special place we were in together,
but then something changed for you
and you wont even share with me what that was too,
it pains me to be feeling this way
like everything has been ripped apart,
when I thought we'd be inseparable
but this pain I have to feel,
before I can move on and start again
