It shattered, breaking like a window in my mind
this feeling suddenley lost, thanks to you're actions
like a house being hit by a bomb, all crumpled into rubble
so much to take in, in the emptiness that's left
everyone said you would be trouble, but I was blind to it
these memory's, like pieces of what was once there
haunting, aggravating, taunting my mental state
everything's ruined and I cant calculate
whats going to happen in the future,
before it all seemed so concrete, set in stone
the road was already paved and the signposts all in place
now demolished, I feel fragile and unsafe.

You betrayed my heart, for something quick on the side
A little extra, thought you would be able to hide
but babe it's such a small town and secrets they subside
everyone finds out everything eventually
you should of realised this by now,
after all you grew up here too, dont you see they're all so snide
bitter and twisted, cant wait to see you fail
to make themselves feel better,
small town people with small town minds
Now were finished, I'm gonna leave it all behind.
Can not be arsed with life no more.

  • I love this.....especially the final two lines. Alot of this is really is hitting home with me right now. Much more complex and well written than what I am writing right now.

Rather than being birthed like a normal child, Chuck Norris instead
decided to punch his way out of his mother's womb. Shortly thereafter
    he grew a beard.

    emotionally written...excellent
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key
  • i like the cadence in the first stanza

    be well, reeferchief
