What I've Seen

I thought, therefore I was
A picture sat inside a frame,
pastel colours illustrated
an image of a landscape scene,
trees, fields and lots of green
a deep blue sky
but with a hint of rain
In my confusion I saw some pain
in this image I was viewing
I saw people standing
as if there had been an argument
an altercation
as if something serious had happened
and life would never be the same again
these carictures were disturbed
by what had come before them
uncertain of their future
and what it was that brought them there
fate? curiosity? intregue?
never would the answers be revealed.
