Almost over,
he stumbles through the room
heart not quite broken
but no longer feeling
the love he once knew
the house a perfect mess
rubbish left discarded on the floor
three day old food turning moldy
on a plate left on the table
destroyed by his own indecisiveness
only time could have saved them
but time tore them apart
all he could now think of
was the love he once had
slumping into the corner
and feeling his consciousness start to go
how long before his rotting body is discovered?
he thinks without a care
nothing matters anymore
now the pills cabinet has been emptied.

Can not be arsed with life no more.
