A New Beginning ...

A siege of lofty crimson slanted rays
shatter scarlet rows then pierce beneath
a steep curtain of crowded violet light

Below, a clutch of fervent creamy waves
swell toward the sullen misty shore
and in the distance collapse, to sketch the temper
fresh upon the anxious vacant day...

    for back to back shows....with no opening act !!!

    The days go on with a beauty all their own, whether we take the time to notice is up to us! :) Beautiful poem!

    :D:D:D Oooo, I'd love to go to NFLD to see one of those shows but I guess I'll just have to be satisfied with seeing them at 5 different venues in Ontario & Quebec!!!! ;):D:D It's so exciting! Man, I can't wait 'til September! :)

    i love this poem. there are no other words to describe it, the poem itself is the only wording that matters.

    and i cant believe im going to New Foundland either. seems like the perfect place for pearl jam... ON THE EDGE OF THE WORLD!!!!

    I was just wondering...

    Which poem is it that you love ?

    I wanted to know if somebody likes things that I write.

    I seem to be the only one who understands.

    Does anyone else ???
