Hell Begins
White Turns To Crimson
A Demon Inside Begs For More
It Ravages Its Home Void Of Its Desire
Delirium Tremens
Pondering A Solution
Feed The Demon Or Suffer Its Wrath

    Hey Dude,

    I think you need to research what withdrawal is.I am a recovering alcoholic and a recovering addict.I have been sober for almost 8 years and your description of withdrawal is way off! I suffer some withdrawal everyday and it is NOT anything like you describe so in the future I suggest you either research better or suffer it head on so then you can speak from expeirience it for yourself!

    Withdrawl can have different affects among others so this is most likely their way of seeing it.

    I do like the envisionary and words used in this piece. You can really grasp the situation strongly. Very nice. :)

    Hey HeartofGold...I like it...I feel that "Withdrawl" doesn't have to be from any substance abuse....for me it's more like withdrawl from a relationship with someone special

    I'll tell you this: you are not recovering well. Go to a meeting and ask what "Easy Does It" and "Live and Let Live" mean. Relax and get some perspective. You keep jumping on people for shit like this and you'll be drunk before you know it. PM me if you want to talk. And get a sponsor if you don't have one.

    ps....heart of gold...I feel your poem. The DTs were kinda like that for me.
    but withdrawal has 2 As in it. ;)

    Not really. ;) Twitching, and unwanted hallucinations, freezing, and waking with your head upside down off your couch and your jaw clamping is not much fun at all.

    i can kinda relate, a very good friend is going through detox right now, i see his wd everyday, its amazing...some of the things your body does to itself...
