winter sky
dry brittle twig snap
ice form bulb
I have sat and thought about until it made my head sick
how I've woken up and thought slow
supplant
quickened thoughts
and mountain strides
out of the trees crouching
the altitude
air
awareness
stiffened forearms
murk fleet step
swirling plain level off
amongst heavanly drafts
where light sharpens my pupils

and i peel my eyes for you
H
I've wanted
shed honey crust
and spout breathing for you
I walk towards what I know without thinking
drive
ever near to her walls
of shimmering colour
depths of a thousand shades of blue
your love lay best in keeping

it feel really rude to comment on my own poem, but I actually like parts of this (except the last line could go), I like to write and never look at it or fix it again, to be spontaeous. So its like Im reading someone elses work for the first time, only I can see who the girl in dash letters is.

Thanks for the reply too, that bit is really nice, thanks a lot.
  • My favorite line is " I peel my eyes for you"
    Great line!
It doesnt hurt.... when I bleed
    but memories...they eat me
    I've seen it all before,...
bring it on cause I'm no victim.
