GOSSARD AND EPSTEIN COME TOGETHER FOR HDSA!

Tomorrow morning, November 20th (between 6am - 10 am EDT), WEEI Boston, is doing a live on air auction for HDSA. They are auctioning only one exclusive package. To some, this may be the opportunity of a lifetime ... We are talking about the chance for you and a guest to hang out with Theo Epstein (young Red Sox GM extraordinaire) and Stone Gossard (need we say more). This experience with these two gents will include dinner, a tour of Fenway, and a Red Sox game watched from the manager's box.

For any Sox fan, this would be a very exciting night. Throw in a love of Pearl Jam and what more could you want? Well, actually a chance to hang with Red Sox management might be more of a boon to a Yankees fan, but we are pretty sure Theo can handle it.

The show is broadcast live on the web. So, you don't have to be in Boston to bid. In order to listen to the show you need to:

1. register: http://www.streamlaunch.com/register.asp?siteid=123&h=449&w=514
2. Go to go to: http://www.weei.com/index.php
3. Click on ‘Listen Live’ in the top right corner of the page and log in

Pass this along to all those sports fans you know!

Very cool- but too bad that I'm broke and I could care less about baseball. Oh, and I don't live any where near Boston.

I sincerely think this thing will find some late 30s early 40s lawyer doctor type with more money then they need ... and fetches close to 10k.

    We'll see.

I'd love to win that and just nag them the entire day about putting on a show in Fenway (if they hadn't already gave it the green light)

What a sweet gift for the Sox/PJ fan!

I wander if stone will make during the game his famous movements with his head, like when he jamms during PJ shows.

I would bid high to see that.

Who is the other guy, sorry for the ignorance.

any word on the final bid?
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

Speaking to an acquaintance last night at the Springsteen show, the subject of PJ at FEnway came up as he knows I'm a large fan.
He works venue security at most Boston area venues...his inside info for the frontrunner for Fenway 2008 was not Pearl Jam it was a band from New Jersey. And not the band I saw last night.
I hope he is wrong, but he normally isn't.

This would make two members of my family sooooo happy.
Sadly, they are not the ones in the family who can afford to get the package.
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.

JD I'm pretty sure that's the case b/c it'll get ripped to shreds with more shows on it, and the Sox seem to think they have something of a dynasty growing...though resigning Lowell could prevent it ;).
