don't know why i'm here...or what I am doing.....
feel like a ship rising and falling in the waves,
the bow slamming into the next wave,
the salt air pushing into my face,
the taste, the moisture.
There is no compass here, no sight of land.
Only the ocassionally glimpse of other ships in the distance,
seemingly to be stronger than me, to be better equipped to handle this storm.
who am I supposed to be in this life? who am I supposed to be with? Am I supposed to be with anyone? why aren't there answers? why aren't they clear? My stomach is tight. My body is burdened.
I hope this storm ends soon, and blue skies emerge....

good post, can't wait to read more.
The risk I took was calculated, but man, am I bad at math - The Mincing Mockingbird
I dunno why but when I say Eric, I wanna say Von Lichtenstein.......... nothing to do with anything
I knew you could do it man, and man, I am well impressed with your offering. The imagery here is fantastic, and I get the sounds of the lonely creeky of water logged wood and the cracked sun salt dried lips. In some ways, the journey to god know's where can be an exciting one, never know whats over that horizan.
Now, phase two of my evil plot, get Eric into the music, into the music, the music, the music............
But then You make me crawl
And I can't be holding on
To what You got
When all You've got is hurt

Underneath this smile lies everything
All my hopes and anger, pride and shame
