A Patterned Goodbye


As this dream fades from reality back into my thoughts,
our love continues to chase time but remains uncaught;
As each touch becomes a reach which moves the other
way, both past and future share an emotion on this day;
And although each goodbye I try to understand a little
more, sometimes it's hard when you're every dream I've
ever wished for.

Dancing My Mind Off The Past


As troubled as this life might have once been, you've helped me find perspective and believe again; I think it is all the things we did not say, that pushed us together instead of pulling away; To act like I know this fate or where it all might go, would be to expect more than I could possibly know; So as the time changes I'll continue to move on, and remember for one night you helped this heart along.

All You've Answered


How often have you dreamed of things which don't exist, and how close have you come to what hasn't been kissed; And how far has passion pushed you when things were out of reach, was there a determination in you love's cupid couldn't teach; Did you learn through absense about the fondness of the wait, was for once being early worse than showing up late; was an innocence reborn in experience already gained, were words such as truth and trust so easily explained; Was a need for a change something you've never known, all these questions now have answers in the love which you've shown.

WOW! Im being totally honest here..............I really like all of them!! The first one you posted hit home for me, especially the last line.

Ive been waiting to see some of your writing. Im glad you finally had the chance to share them! Thank you!

Thank you very much. They are were very important relationships and women in my life....it makes it easy to write that way. I personally like my ones about these relationships when they were ending a bit better. I will have to post more later. Thanks again for being honest.

The Thought Process That Passed You Bye


If I was to foreshadow my own demise, would I have ended it with such compromise; or would I have fought when so much of me was not whole, taking all the consequences and not allowing my heart to be cold; In that case I would not really have been living, the closed off mind of reciprication always stops giving; So for all those crossroads I just carelessly let go, I never forget them-I just wanted you to know.

The Embrace That Let You Go


In the formalities we allowed ourselves to settle for, we finished our game before we tallied the score; But would it matter if someone won in this fight, neither of us is doing what we should tonight; But we've let time slip into the emotions we once shared, after all these years would it matter if I cared; So much of me has slowly gone on my way, I remember what we had but I knew I couldn't stay; So as this hand quietly shakes and let's go of you, don't tell me how you feel that's something I already knew.
