I'm going to submit a manuscript to the Yale Series of Younger Poets competition this year. Here's information on it

I need to write about 50 poems (in final form) between now and November 1st. Is anyone willing to offer constructive criticism on these poems? Would you prefer that I send the poems via private message or post them on this board for review? This post could be the start of a thread with those poems and critiques if you want. Thanks!

    Bibliobella....that's great - I've entered a couple of competitions here in Australia, but I admire your ambition which is a realistic reflection of your talent. I'd be happy to offer any good ideas I can think of on your poems, and I think you should go for it, and post them here. Imagine if you won, one of my suggested words or comments might have been part of the effort, and that would be weird :) and sweet......have you got any already written.....(I haven't checked the link yet)......
    ....they're asking me to prove why I should be allowed to stay with my baby in Australia, because I'm mentally ill......and they think I should leave......

    Good luck Bib - remember - if you post it, they will come - this looks like a good contest - maybe I'll submit the book I made for my father - what title are you thinking of for your manuscript?

    I haven't started it, yet. I'm inspired by art, photography particulary, so maybe something about that. I'm starting to work on it June 1st. I put the link up in case others would be interested. Wonderful wonderful, people!
