We ride the skeleton of air away from words.
We ride it towards a last chance, again.
Apart from the sunset cut by the tracks
we assess the drive home as good fortune.

Outlines of buildings build an alphabet of history heavy
from the weight of multiple blueprints;
but the sun can not distinguish a from an.

There was a time when the sun
shone 24 hours a day,
and the word, “time” was never spoken.

    oh yeah... your haiku to which i responded pink? my son is younger than my daughter, and should i cross out her name on her backpack and let him use it... it'll be pink. probably not an option for me, though i am sure he couldn't care less :)

    Sounds good! You know what? My 9-year old niece is taking her tae kwon do black belt test in October. Alas, if only she saw this.
