if you had the chance?

I would be either Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice or Anne Elliot from Persuasion. I'm more like Anne Elliot, so that's a better fit.

  • I would like to be able to reply to a question like that in a flash, but I just start thinking about it. Similar to the 'solitary confinement' question. No, no good, minds gone blank!

but speaking of solitary I can relate that to characters. Leatherman, the boy from 'the crossing' who saves the wolf, who is the solitary animal.

Jean Valjean, the main character in Les Miserables, because he's one of the few who are honorable even when it can kill him.
I shouldn't have to fight a battle I'll never win, just to lose those I've never had.

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
  • Achiles....he probably ate good and had a lot of women. Plus he got to fight in some sweet battles.

    were that all was fiction,
i'd cast my line to the sea,
allow the foam to splash my face,
    below the bows salty seed,

and the least and the most of this is,
that which one wanting to hear,
for the time we've spent with a wish,
no clock designed - it is brave fish we fear.

i'd want to be captain ahab,
obsessed with the great white whale,
stabbing at distance the Queen Mab,
to let hisself down and exhale.
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green
