Would you like to be an editor for one issue of Trading Stories with the Leaves? If yes, please pm me, and I'll clarify the responsibilities. Depending on how many respond I'll use that as a pool of rotating editors for future issues.

I just read the first issue. Very nice layout. I particularly liked Dunkman's interview with Heineken Helen.
I do have a couple of questions. Are all submissions required explanation of how it relates to such and such a song? That seems like a bit of overkill, to me, especially for something like an opinion piece, like Allison's.
    What are bacon rashers?

Yes, all people who submit will need to write how it relates to that theme. #2 will be VS. It means they thought about that album for at least a few moments. If we get more submissions than last time, then the "How does this relate . . . " bit may not play as prominent a role within the finished zine. However, I still want people to think of the theme for at least a little while.

I liked how it added to the submissions. When I handed the submissions to the previous editor it started to seem overkill, but in the finished zine that thread amongst the contributors made it unique from other zines.

I don't know what a bacon rasher is. You'd have to ask Dunkman or HH :)

Rashers are slices of back bacon.. bacon, as the americans know it, is called streaky bacon in this part of the world!

Rashers in the back, streaky in the front --> http://www.denhay.co.uk/images/pork_naked.jpg
