I wish that I could think of something great to write about.
So many ideas but I can not get them to form in my mind. Much less a multitude of story threads combined so that they form a thick bond revealing the workings of a intertwined story that may invoke thoughts of one own self awareness.
This self awareness is something that I seek in my own mind. The separation of wants and needs, the pangs of desires and addictions, the forced placidity on ones being to survive the mundane and the forced excitement while searching for a reason of being. Why does it seem that others have this self awareness. A better question would be do those who portray having this self awareness actually contain the capacity to be self aware? If one has no self awareness could it be possible to create a false self awareness so that one could live in artificial tranquillity?
Fear is the suppressor of many, it could account for many shortcomings in growing into self awareness. Fear is a paradox in which the one who has the fear creates and controls the fear, yet the fear controls the mind to not let go of fears. It acts almost as a drug. Is fear is a natural addiction that keeps us bound by its effects? At times we want to shed our fears other times we seek it out. Why does our body and mind need this? Some could say that it brings us closer to knowing who we really are, I say it keeps us from being who we are. They only thing that fear can prove to a person are ones limitations of actions in order to reach safe results. I could be many things, I could do many things, I have desires, but fear keeps me locked in a box. The box binds me so that I cannot be what I want, I cannot do what I want, I cannot have what I desire. Lets assume for a moment that there was no such thing as fear. Where would that take each and every one of us. Could you imagine the risks many would take! Could you imagine the release of fear and being freed to be what you want to be without worrying about trivial obstacles that provide excuses for us. Although this freedom would come with a heavy tax. Fear is also what keeps us from the downward spiral. If you feared nothing where would you limit yourself. There would be no such thing as consequence, only reaction. The lack of fear would bring our minds down to the more simple form of thinking, every action causes a reaction. It is how babies begin to think. They have no fear when taking those first steps, they have no fear of falling off of the chair, they have no fear if they lose a shoe, they have no fear. Fear is a learned trait. Fear is preconscious anticipation of a reaction. Babies live in the moment at which they are. Most adults live in a bubble of time. The center of this bubble lay in the present and either side lay the past and the future. In our actions we take experience from the past applied to the present and the sum of the past and present are applied to the future. Making the bubble bigger as we move through time.

Sometimes fear can be helpful. For example, if I'm afraid my son might get burnt by the flames bursting out of the BBQ I'll make sure he stays a few feet away. If I'm afraid that a car won't see my son on his bike, I'll put my bike in between him and the car because I'm bigger.
In other words, some fear is helpful for survival. The problem many people worry about is EXCESSIVE or inappropriate fear that paralyzes.
