the waiting

drove me mad

you're finally here and ...

"take a number, bitch" he said.
You ask me to enter
But then You make me crawl
And I can't be holding on
To what You got
When all You've got is hurt
----
Underneath this smile lies everything
All my hopes and anger, pride and shame

    Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
    As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
    And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
    He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
    What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
    Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
    And his tears fall and burn the garden green

    the mess is all over the pless ... and it will never go away.

    is the hardest part
    every day you see one more card
    you take it on faith
    you take it to the heart
    the waiting is the hardest part



    so true, so true....then in an instant the wait is over and you understand what all the waiting was for. i know that on ocassion things may not turn out the way you'd hoped - the waiting was still the hardest part.

    my two cents for what thats worth.

    chins up...hearts open....and when that instant arrives you'll be ready.
