closed mind at the start,
so i tossed it
nothing to lose,
yet i lost it

opened it up
and got blown away
but i was too late,
nothing left to say

now mind open wide,
it creeped back inside
took over completely
this time so sweetly

forgot what it was to feel
sad, alone and unreal
instead for a while
wore a big dumbass smile

almost close enough
to grasp
never close enough
to grasp

nothing to lose,
yet i lost it

You ask me to enter
But then You make me crawl
And I can't be holding on
To what You got
When all You've got is hurt
----
Underneath this smile lies everything
All my hopes and anger, pride and shame
