memories turn to thoughts and dreams
was it ever reality?
how could I have had it all?
I never was a lucky one
(I refer to those in love)

was I dreaming?
your smell, a sweet memory?
your touch, just the morning breeze?

was I dreaming?
your taste, a sweet memory?
your voice, just the wispering wind?

haunted, not by a ghost, but an angel
blessed?
I had it once, but then it left
now I can't recall
if I had it at all

In my dream I was promised a return
happiness eternal
I could never lose hope in this truth
and at your sight
all that was left is now right

thoughts and dreams revert to memories
the past's echoes
they have their place
as do I
by your side

    ahh, the hubby's home?
    The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

    nearly. a few more hours. he doesn't get home till after midnight, but I can't wait :)
