I'm bored

I was informed by my primary school teacher that only boring people get bored........hmmm. Perhaps that's true. I wish more people wrote on here. I find these arty farty threads a bit more interesting (usually) than the "let's talk about what we had for breakfast"* ones found elsewhere.

Who wants to start a poem about boredom?

    I do!

    Ok, here is the start-

    A glass of water
    near a window.
    A sunny day
    reflected on the top of
    a garage sale table

    Your turn

    Your turn

    a glass of vodka
    from the cupboard.
    A rainy day
    locked inside a house
    and empty mind

PS, I don't drink, but it seemed to fit.

    indeed .
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key

    all of theese
    my thrill
    I push
    against my will

    Consume me within
    now
    I shall begin
    live my life at last
    this, my final blast?

    (sorry, lots o jonny lately)

:) so do I really :D. It's a shame about the AET, it's a little boring here without it. But i think if more people posted more often in the poetry/art section that I would probably spend more time here, in this part than in AEt.

The truth is Im relieved the AET is gone for a while at least.

I needed to get more done and self control isnt my strongest quality.

ok. I'll start a new one...

    Dishes in the sink
    Clothes on the floor
and I have to ask myself "is this all?"
