I'm not the same without you here
How can i quit to be there
Sit and stare
Stare..
Begging for a prayer

obviously not mine, but when pj sums up what you are thinking, you know there is no way you can write better.

These lines come to me over and over when I am away from my fiance. At the moment we only have to be apart for weeks at a time, but when we had to be apart for months at a time it was just this in my head and a sadness because it feels like a million years before you'll see each other again.

does anyone else have pj lyrics that come to them at particular time in their lives, or maybe you've written a poem similar to the above and you feel like sharing?

The picture kept will remind me
Don't call me daughter, not fit to
The picture kept will remind me
    Don't call me...

I think that says it all. :)

And whenever I say goodbye to friends or loved ones and I know I won't see them for awhile, the lyrics to "Smile" always play in my head. :) You smile through the tears.

Don't it make you smile (2x)
When the sun don't shine? (shine at all - Stone)
    Don't it make you smile?
    Don't it make you smile?
    Don't it make me smile?
When the sun don't shine, it don't shine at all
    Don't it make me smile?

I miss you already... I miss you always
I miss you already... I miss you all day
    This is how I feel...

I miss you already... I miss you always

The crooked heart swells around... I miss you all day.

    :)

"Even flow, thoughts arrive like butterflies
Oh, he don't know, so he chases them away
Someday yet, he'll begin his life again
    Life again, life again... "

"Even flow, thoughts arrive like butterflies
Oh, he don't know, so he chases them away
Someday yet, he'll begin his life again
Whispering hands, gently lead him away
    Him away, him away...
    Yeah!"

It's a good pick me up when you've hit the bottom. Starting over can be an amazingly wonderful thing.

"hold your head deep in my arms...my fingertips they close your eyes...
Off you dream, my little child...there's a sun around the bend...
There's a sun around the bend...
All the evenings close like this."

This one sounds like a lullabye to me. I think of my babies.

"Oh, dear dad, can you see me now
I am myself, like you somehow
I'll wait up in the dark for you to speak to me
    I'll open up...Release me."

I really could relate to this one years ago. I've always loved this song.

"So I would say you've got a part...
What's your part? Who you are
You are who, who you are..."

I love to search for deeper meaning. It's an enlightening experience trying to figure out who you are.

"Do you see the way that tree bends? Does it inspire?
Leaning out to catch the sun's rays...a lesson to be applied...
Are you gettin' something out of this all-encompassing trip?
You can spend your time alone, redigesting past regrets, oh...
Or you can come to terms and realize
You're the only one who can forgive yourself, oh yeah...
Makes much more sense to live in the present tense... "

This one is great and so inspiring. It makes so much sense to me.

I could go on but I'll just end it with those. There are so many though.
