selfish

im not a song bird
im an owl
but who gives a hoot

my touch,
meant to calm you,
only aggravates

try to please you
try to give you all i can
all im doing is creating
an unhappy man

all i need is all of you
and your desire
i know im selfish
because i want you, because i need you, because i cry

i know im selfish
but i try
i try to provide all that im asking of you
to you

you dont want it
but i want it from you
i want to be your special one
your only one
your desire

    I thought the poem was going to be funny after reading this line. Boy, was I wrong, eh? If you want to desire me, go ahead . . . oh, wait, I'm suppose to desire you? No offense, but I haven't met you :)

    Seriously, it's too bad your creating the unhappy man. So many people excel at it without putting the action to words. Maybe the words will decrease the flow of actions?

    Perhaps it is his time of the month...is he cave-dwelling? Nice poem, I can sympathize with you...men can be very frustrating sometimes and hard to figure out

    the simpsons are pretty big here. I love 'em. We have one channel that plays them every night, (sometimes when they run out of good tv shows they put the simpsons on twice a night every week night), plus there is one or two days a week that they have a simpson hour in addition to the normal simpsons :) so I must have seen every show about a million times over (give or take a couple of thousand).
