he's trippin
he's power tripping once again
and there you are
there you are to take the pain

in the shadows
in the darkness
there where the fear lies
comes the sorrow
comes the weakness
of the thing that terrifies

he's talking so damn up close
but no words are exitting his mouth
time again he's power tripping
inside the walls
behind the doors of your house

getting high by draining you
don't he think you feel it too?
but it's you he's hitting
when he's power tripping

wake up, walk out
get up, get out

you've got power too

Powerful and hits home for me. I can't express enough that no one deserves that treatment. Walk out indeed...

thanks. I always worry when I write about stuff I haven't experienced, because I don't want to offend those that have or have them feel that I (and others) have absolutely no clue what I am saying.

    really really like this.
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key

thanks. it was only lightly based on that particular lady, and more abused women in general, but yeah I wrote after she was out of the relationship. I only met her after she was divorced. I believe she was looking into finding a hit man to take care of her ex. I hope nothing ever came of that. Lost contact with her about 6 months after meeting her.

Abuse is alot more predominant than people realize. I hope to be an advocate sometime in the near future to help others with what I learned, while I heal. Most people don't even want to talk about it because they are too ashamed. Although I can't help making slight jabs sometimes to my ex, like telling him I have a girlfriend now because he ruined my view of men just so he will leave me alone. I know hate only breeds more hate, not good to get even, just get wise and help others out. There is a certain mind-set abusers have that make you feel brain washed and when you come out of it than you just feel stupid, scared, and want to hide. You kinda have to embrace the pain and try to make something good out of it.
