Emptiness knocks at the gate in her head
Prepared not ready - all her thoughts mislead
Start at the edge, jump quickly don’t think

Prepare a blanket beneath her feet
She desires safety from a world of incompletes
Rest lightly waits for night to pass

Crawl to a morning of despairing thoughts
Quiet madness, darkness like a disease she caught
Vacant I feel, ironic how emptiness can fill so much of me
