War World: Life of Mass Destruction

Hello everyone.

I am currently engaging a project called "War World".

This project is a "concept album" in the shape of poems/songs.

In the center of the story stands Jeremiah (Jeremy, Jimmy, James, haven't decided on that one yet) Ulrich Debon Georg Ement (Long name in purpose), or in short - JUDGE.

Our friend J. is a scientist who's on a spaceship orbiting the earth. No one knows how, but he gets sucked into a world full of wars, a world where wars are a way of life, where he meats Wayne Andy Robinson, or in short WAR, a soldier who doesn't really like it all... WAR tells J. what is happening on War World and explains with the poems which will presented to you, some of war world's phenomenon's.

Let me just tell you what I'm trying to do here: I'm trying to point out some criticism about our world's phenomenons and events. Each poem has one or two events that it refferes to, execpt the Exposition.

Here are two (not by order, since I havn't yet completed it, so i'll just post here bits, and will see if you folks like it):

Exposition:

In to this haze, paralyzed in a world full of colors and smells of exotic things
Razed, logical, I've been robbed of my senses like sheep coming down with the herd
Un-compromising force gripping me in a world full of hate, unborn
Loosing grip, but the journey to peace is ten miles away from black holes
Gripping men into wars, unlike back at home where I live

Black monolith stands in middle of quarrel with inner guns Full of stars
Close my eyes, opens wide a third eye with electrical charge pointed down
Chemistry does the math where I'll land when my luck will end eventually
Rotation spinning five times around and again five more to other side
Like a gun without lights shooting aimlessly into the dark without what to find

It's about to end very fast when I look at my watch and see it's all gone
Ten minutes, subconscious, was lying around in the pink area of space
And I looked, saw a horse, he was pale, running free and spreading flowers on all of the dead
I've seen a grenade and a blast and I don't recognize this place…

James: "Where am I?"
Soldier: "Move away stranger, you're standing in my spot."
James: "Your spot?"
Soldier: "My spot. It's my turn to be hit by the grenade. Where have you been, for Cappy's sake's?"
James: "Cappy? Where am I?"
Soldier: "Planet earth, but lately, we call it "War World"."

Ok, this was the opening of it, now here's one of the acual story:

Bombs Away! (Metal Birds Can't Cry):

Commander: "Michael, are you there?"
Michael: "Yes sir. I'm on the plane."
Commander: "Are you there?"
Michael: "Yes sir. In a few kilometers I'll be in the middle of the city"
Commander: "Good. Drop the bomb when the signal is fired by our spy."
Michael: "Yes sir… Wait… You want me to kill innocent people?"
Commander: "good morning sun-shine, what did you think, that it was a recon mission?"
Michael: "Sir, there are women and children, and even our men. I can't do that."
Commander: "You'll do what I tell you to do."
Michael: "Is it Atomic?"
Commander: "No. Hydrogen. Now drop the bomb."
Michael: "But sir, I can't kill them all."
Commander: "You'll be a hero, just think about it, your name will be remembered in our Army's books, and maybe you'll get a chance to enter Val Halla."
Michael: "I will be a damned criminal for this mass-murder. I don't want to go to Val Halla for that. I won't. Val Halla is a place for saints, for do gooders, not criminals."
Commander: "You will be a war hero."
Michael: "If that's being a war hero, I'll be damned if I'll be remembered as one. I won't drop the bomb."
Commander: "Are you dissobeying order?"
Michael: "Yes!"
Commander: "Don't speak cr*p. I don't want to hear that whining. Drop the bomb. Drop it or be shot. We will have them shooting you like at a fly."
Michael: "I don't know… "
Commander: "Do you want to live?"
Michael: "Yeah… Yes sir… (Face looks sad)."
Commander: "Then shoot! Now! Shoot or your family will die with you!"
Michael: "Yes... yessir..."
Click
Commander: "Sergeant, is it done?"
Sergeant: "Yes sir. Impact in one minute."
Commander: "Good. Now shoot the plane down, I don't want any rebels in my army."
Sergeant: "Yes sir."
Click

Slicing air through, going under
Falling in the speed of lightning
While all the humans treading water
Falling sealing humans' fate

Robotic armor made for killing
Unable to cry alone, can't feel
Megatons on physics leaning
Tragedy of Tera-Souls

In the boat the captain's sinking
While all men abandon ship
Torpedoes fired, walls exploding
But no matter, it can't go back

In the streets the kids are happy
On the air the bomb is falling
Something fishy, air is crappy
Soon it will be deadly too

Hordes of dead persons all over lying
Falling bomb was laid down
Unleashed its mighty fury of those undying
Simple to see hard to understand

Bombed away betrayed by liars
Captain was tricked just the same
Promises by so called freedom fighters
Now he's down, lies, bitten dust

This is just another cycle
Words in here are never hard
This is just a warning, Michael
They will all return these steps
In this Jar we call earth
Just like rabid tortured flies

Ok, so more to come in the future.

Please, criticism and opinions are imporant for me, so please be kind and give some :)

Thank you all.

Cheers

    Hi.

I have another one written, called "Ghosts of Achilles" (yep, i've seen Troy too).

    Hope you'll like it:

    Ghosts of Achilles:

Beyond the Styx, but no one knows for sure
Ly giants and midgets dead, I am already there
Every night, they keep inviting me, they go away

I am responsible, now I understand at last
It took me 20 years of killing; I can still taste the blood
But I never tasted my own, and for that I made flood

But I still hear them at night, Those who I killed
Inviting me for a feast, to drink everlasting wine
They welcome me as a brother, they died like giants
And I am the true midget, as I killed for a command

And I wanted the fame around, I was promised
I knew I won't return from land of hope
Hope for kings filled with pride over self esteem
What fills me is the same, so it seemed

I hear them calling at dawn, waiting at dusk
But I have lived another day, and they get stronger
He was the last I heard, "The fool who thought…"
But I never thought, just provoked

There are no heroes, we all die at the end
I knew it very well, and I still went
I wanted to be remembered, I was offered a calm life
I never wanted a wife, only to be remembered

But I killed But they died And I see them
On my voyage For my fame I have killed without end
    And the dead…

    They all understand
They welcome me to my end
    They seem so mature now
    They all face their fate
Now I can lie with them
    Now I can rest
    They all understand
    They all understand…

    So.. What do you think?

    Cheers

    Word From A Veteran Telepath

    This is not victory
We are stranded here at bay
    Tired from fighting
We kill ourselves around all day
For Five years I am fighting, all these endless wars
Killing my own brothers for these power whores
We were lied to like small kids
They have promised us an easy fight
Told us that our struggle is just and right
Now I am tired, older than before
Left a family when I joined a war
It seems like I will never escape this place
My ears have worn out, my eyes are dried
I cannot feel any longer, and I have killed my sense of taste

    Chorus:

    Mind is the strongest weapon
    Breaking all the guns
    Machines are war tools
    Drafter's mind is weak
They've made him a total fool

    Verse 2:

    No point of returning home
    One more day to kill
I've got hundreds on my hands
    Wounds will never heal
This war never fired a gun
    Using amps and helmets
    Using energy of the sun
    I've bend down many men
    By only looking at them
But I'm not as half ashamed of that
As I'm ashamed of bending my own will

    Verse 3:

    And at night
When I pray to my god
I ask to kill me once again
So I won't see tomorrow's mountain of blood
For five years I am using my brain
    To bend, destroy and drain
    This is the last time
    I won't destroy no more
I got no more grey cells
Can't fight as I could before
My telepathy can now barely work
I've become a burden on the battlefield
I, from madness sabotaged my base,
    Using my crumbling psychic fork.

    Chorus:

    Mind is the strongest weapon
    Breaking all the guns
    Machines are war tools
    Drafter's mind is weak
They've made him a total fool

    Verse 4:

    This war will now cease
    I will no longer defend
    It will end tonight
Even if it means only on my end
I have wasted my life to become a parabolic tool
When I thought my enemy as dumb – I was the real fool
    I've survived a thousand wars
This one has got me killed
This is the vengeance of those I murdered
I've lost because I compromised my own will

This is another one in the series of War World...

    Cheers
