There's no sleep here anymore
Since you've gone.
Now you're gone.
The nights are long and so lost
But I can't care.
You were my one time
Can't be my lifetime
And the panic climbs
Along the shadowed wall
Making my flesh crawl.

In this place I once lived
All those days
You left my world enchanted
With the love that came from you.
And I drank entirely
'Til you were spoiled by me
And walked on by

Now this tomb preserves decay
Your Ghost haunts my chamber
The darkness flares
I stand and face the edge
Of my fall
Stare the beast unbounded
And a decision becomes clear.

The full moon burns away
Sunrise of embers
My blue eyes tear.
I absorb the heat of daylight
Shed my skin
To walk a path unguided
Without the constant fear
Up here in my tree
