I
am
I
am
I
am
the
only
one
me.
I
am
now.
here.
dirty
inside,
allover
everyone.
unlovable.
everything
remaining
unopened.
elation
always
exits
when
you
do.
I
am
the
last
one
on.
i
am
the
only
one.
am
i?
is
the
hope
there
waitin
lurking
yearning
providing
conspiring.
countless
unwanted.
patient
father
heres
your
son!
am
i
on
the
edge.
falls
down
.
.
.
to
the
ones
there
hurtin
empathy.
sorrow
tears
rips
out
my
I
as
the
last
truth
leaves
despair
reigns
looms
over
all.
me?
I
am
the
last
stand.
breathe
releases
breathe
inhale
fight
live
now.
am
I
am
I
am
I?

  • Cheers mate. Have been writing lyrics for so long that "poetry" seems hard. Tried to write a poem that said something in different ways. Anyway have had a few beers and Jack Danieals tonight, so my bed is calling.

that made my eyes hurt :(
    but it was neat :)
The most remarkable thing about you standing in the doorway, is that its you, and that you're standing in the doorway.

I write down good reasons to freeze to death in my spiral ring notebook. But in the long tresses of your hair--I am a babbling brook.

wow that was really really cool.
with the shape and the drama of the short lines...
    loved it all to pieces.

  • Cheers. Still unsure of myself when it comes to writing poetry so it's nice to get encouraging comments, especially after reading some of your work and the others posted on this site. Some of the poems I've come across since joining have really made me think- and some of it's quite humbling.
