inspired by pearl jam

I've been reading many archives messages, and besides the 'other music' message board, it seems as though people are 'iffy' in a sence to mention any other band besides pearl jam. Some have even seemed a touch embarasses at that. This baffles me. I'm not sure if there is a single person in this word who ejoys or will only listen to one band. pj has inspired many bands along the way, and have been the soul creation of many more bands. even bands in the woodworks. I don't know. This site appealed to me beacuse of diversity. Maybe i'm wrong. Anyways, that was my small 'rant', for lack of a better word.

    I don't know, I think it's because the anonymity of the internet lends itself to people picking fights because they can, people are a lot different online than they are in person in a lot of cases, and they'll jump all over any opposing viewpoint like a pack of wolves , lends some interesting thoughts to human nature don't you think?
