First it was caffenine at 10
half case of pepsi
Then it was dope at 17
bong, blunt, big ol spliff
Now its whiskey at 23
scotch over some ice
I bet it will be love at 27
thats the addiction that will hurt me the most.
I will make the world a better place...with my own, two hands.

    i think the younger you are the more difficult it is to seriously justify drinking alone.. i've been doing it since i was 16.. ah well, gotta die somehow.

    i'm 26 and i've drank alone almost every night since i turned 21...

    i like this one, leader...simple...to the point...yet, poignant

    i dont care if its an addiction, or a bio-chemical equivalent to chocolate, i could really go for some good old-fashioned Love right about these days..

    sure would cure my drinking alone habit!

    i think love is definitely the way to go

    if i'm going to die of an addiction to love though i hope it's the love of something or someone good -- otherwise it's a waste.

    your title is really cool. how did you do that triangle?

    for my title, I used the alt key
    if you hold it down and press differnt combonations on your number pad, it gives you different symbols and things ♪♪♪♂♥♣♂♠

    hell, im totally loving this poem! when u say addiction to love, is that being loved or loving someone? i think being loved would be the most scary as u have the most to loose dont u? haha fortunatly im only 18 so dnt have to worry about it for a few years yet. :) 100% ace poem.

    i would say loving, not being loved would be the addiction
    cause its my feelings that are at stake when i choose to love, i cant really choose the people that love me. I mean I might be able to choose the people that I would want to love me.....man, now you got me thinking about that

    hmm, i know. Thats what your poem got me thinking though-it was very thought provoking! In my very limited experience of love, i think being loved when ur not in love with them is frightening. i felt suffocated not free. perhaps because i was so worried of shattering his dillusions that i assmed he had had of me. at least with loving someone u have some choice and control but what do i know? :)
