A piece containing poetry about eyes and eyeliner...hmmm...
Wrote 'on the quick' about 10 minutes ago, so please dont be too critical lol
Excuse me if i do not speak,
But i'm happy staring in those eyes,
Those eyes... a pale sea of green,
Surrounded by the lilac skies.
With a flash of my eyelids,
I hold that stare so close to me inside.
And our emotions-laced with love and regret,
Pour out from us- no longer hide.
But i'm afraid to say the words I feel,
I'm afraid of how you'd react to me,
I'm afraid that you don't feel the same,
I guess i'm too afraid...
So until i'm sure my thoughts are shared,
I'll dream the dream i've dreamt for hours,
And wait until the cold rain pours,
And disguise my tears with Autumn showers.
But as the rain dances on your skin,
A tear gathers in your eye,
Mixing in those seas of green,
And buried in those lilac skies.
So excuse me if i do not speak,

And even if we say no words,
I hope,
Just for one moment-
That you feel the same as you stare at me...
