Sorry but i just havent been able to write anything lately. Bloody writer's block! So i found one earlier that I had written ages ago, and thought i should post it, just to keep active on this site. n

Tomorrow comes too soon:

My inner thought's, scared.
Laced with "should have's", and "could have's".
All of these emotions, falling,
under a new regret.
Each time I hold your hand, I wish;
"Please don't let go..."

Because for you I 'd paint the moon,
name each star after you,
find your favourite shade of blue,
And lend it to the night time sky.
But again the moment is tarnished by truth,
The realisation that tomorrow will feel worse.
The days just disappear.

And my inner self becomes so weak,
Laced with sadness and false hope,
All of the times i've laid in bed,
All of the dreams we've never lived.
And as I hold your hand, I wish;
"Please don't let go..."

How i wished that today would never end,
Tomorrow comes too soon...

  • "please don't let go"
    i always like what you write, mr. pj!
    You ask me to enter
    But then You make me crawl
    And I can't be holding on
    To what You got
    When all You've got is hurt
    ----
    Underneath this smile lies everything
    All my hopes and anger, pride and shame
  • I hate it when words speak my heart. And I love it also.
  • Thank you Violet Ray :)
    little compliments can mean mean a lot.
    And thanks Neenerbean as well. :)

    This is such a wonderful, friendly place, i forgot how much time i enjoyed spending in this part of the forum. I'm gonna try and keep my entries here more regular like i used to do.

  • Nice! I especially liked the the first four lines of the second paragraph. Almost makes me wish my words were as pretty.
