Why is it that youth is the underdog in the game of life?
Why do they treat us the way they do?
Why do they destroy our purity, then question why we have none left?
Why must we pay for mistakes they made before our creation?
Why must we act like everything's o.k.?
Why do they turn the other cheek when we are starved for attention?
Why are they blind to what ails us?
Why are they deaf to our opinions?
Why can't they leave me alone?
Why can't they accept that we can't go on like this much longer?
Why must we ask why?

When you stop asking questions, that's when they tell you you're growing up. Yet a philosopher remains like a child who finds the unsettling questions to make empiricist "parents" of society awkward.

I remember adolescence and how it sucked. I've met many people who think the voting age should be lowered to 16 or even 15. I think maybe in this way more people will be invested in the voting process at an earlier age, and accept responsibility for their vote as they age. Now, as far as a response to your question:
 Leaf cover blocks the sun
rampant moldThere is no such thing as leftover pizza. There is now pizza and later pizza. - anonymous

I wrote 'Underdogs' when I was about 17...good assessment. You now are right behind Finsbury as my favorite critic...Thanks.
