If I could only see you again once more,
In the light beyond my dreams.
The darkness would lift from my soul,
And the light would fade it seems.

So why cant you hear me,
So why cant I fly free,
To the angels in the sky.
The road is so dark, but I must go on.

    and having to go on...

    and for all the "there, there, I am with you" hoo-ha

    they still aren't in many important ways


    but, that's one way of looking at it

    the other way says the lost one's influence on us never goes away, it's just the access to new stuff that's really gone
    It's all yellow.

    Thanks dude. That means a lot.

    Its the first writing I've ever posted. Those words have been with me for a few years now. Started writing a lot about 4 years ago. Have ended up with tons of notebooks filled with lyrics/poems etc.


    Some I forget, others like the one I wrote seem to stick in my mind. You should hear the song I wrote to go with the lyrics. Acoustic guitar, very sad sounding but cool at the same time, great solo that fits perfectly into the song.
