Eclipsing all of me.
Time heals the wounds
Or so they say,
My thoughts are stranded,
My heart’s a cliché.
A slow metamorphosis,
Into a creature unknown,
Setbacks a plenty,
Progress etched in stone.
Piloting a flight to nowhere,
Who has the controls?
Skydiving without a chute,
Joining the other lost souls.
Wandering in this cave of doubt,
Aimlessly searching for meaning,
A slice of routine reality,
Confirms my constant bleeding.
Etched in the memory,
Of a period I do no recall,
Engulfing my character,
A plane in an eternal stall.
