Today I heard the most amazing sound my ears have ever witnessed. I'm sure this will change in 6 months, but as of today, you are etched in my heart forever.
A simple sound, it is.
A complex array of emotions, it brings.
A lasting impression, will always be.
You are alive, and you will be in my arms in due time. You will change this world. You have already changed my world. You are an amazing person I haven't even met. You are a link in the chain that defines who I am and who I will become. Tears of joy are hard to come by, but not with you. The sound of your quick heart beat is all it took. Imagine the impact you will have on me when I can touch you, talk to you, hold you, and see you.
My imagination can not fathom such things. It's not possible to create, in my mind, how beautiful you are....how beautiful you will be. As you made me speechless, you also have made me visionless. You, however, have not taken away my ability to feel....because when I think of you, all I feel is love. You consume me. I can only hope you grow up to be 3 times the person I am, or could ever hope to be. You will. I know you will. I will make sure of it.
Thanks for helping me breathe again, and for showing me through the simple beating of your heart what life truly is.
I'll see you soon, little one.

    Truly beautiful and I can relate - your children will hold a place in your heart like no one else, it is effortless for them and the unconditional love on both sides is amazing and worth cherishing. Good read and very heart warming! :)
