Leading to What

I could sit here writing things
that would blow your mind
I could tell you how this life
existed way back when, I know why
I could tell you why I'm here
and where I'd go in the future
I could tell you who you are
and why you're stuck in your spot
why you're not living life to the fullest
soaking in every single bloody moment

But I won't say a thing
because I know the one thing that matters most
and the one thing that will remain in memory for days after being spoken
is that the last line I'll ever write, is the only thing you'd bother to
re-read, remember, and question.
I tried to be a better me
In the end I looked like the rest of them.

Why does it have to be the last thing you write? :p

Only the most vibrant line communes with the dead and wears the mantle of poetry. Suicide notes are inevitably forged and bear the severed hand of a zombie fan. ;)
