watching you sleep is good for me
knowing you're still breathing
in and out
in and out

we all come to this place sometime
where our love for someone replaces the need
to be ourselves
I'm thinking about what you're dreaming
if there's clouds, and warmth, somewhere in your head
right now

You roll over, and turn away
I know you saw me with the tear on my face
thinking about what will be our last moment
unknowingly of course, together
as I pick up my luggage
and continue down that same old corridor

sleep tight, the sun will rise
the days will start and come to a close
even if I choose not to see it
sleep tight, goodnight.
I tried to be a better me
In the end I looked like the rest of them.

    I like this one.
towards the end it took a turn I did not expect (the luggage).
    sad. but well written.

    thank you for sharing. :)

This one is very sad to me too. That woman will be crying all day I think. :(
