i woke up today
to find my head in the pillow
not moving from it's place
so comfortable
I tried my best I say
to awaken that motivation
that allowed me this place
so easily
if you told me yesterday
today would be infinitely better
I'd never believe you
and I guess I would have been wise
yesterday I would have been a wise man
I'm going to sleep now
in my somewhat cold bed knowing full well
I have nothing to look forward to tomorrow
but another today
another day
full of what-ifs
