Posted a couple months back but...I liked this one.
My candle is a warm reminder of you.
I lit it in good company once for us.
Never an instant to ponder, now somber.
Melliflous my voice talking that of sin?
Indulging within that which is forbidden.
Was a hidden part in need of rejoin,
Asked such as your gentle hand to see
One to rely on in truth, Howbeit a lie.
Closeness had been in the way of words.
