Where? (A poem from 8th grade)

Where?

The darkness of loneliness conquers my mind
I'm on the road, where are the signs?
Happiness went right
I steered left
I sit alone amongst a sea of faces
The depths cut deep
bleed
hurt
tears
Where is the sunshine?
A thousand watches, but what is the time?
Stars, but no shine
Death so cheerful, I can't reach
nothing to teach
I swim in the space
If you are nowhere, how can you finnish the race?
The light shines in my room
White even spells doom

*** I've been trying to get all my writing organized and I found a notebook from my 8th grade year and thought I would share an old poem. ***
Live the life you dream

So I can say this is the way I use to be" -- John Mayer

The sunlight pierces my closed eyes
    the day has started
so has the deaths, crimes, and lies.
    Smiles are no longer popular.
    People live in their "space"
    forget about the human race
    I am here

    What happen to love?
    It's now one for one
He left through the backdoor, the one above,
or did we just close the front?
    Do you see me?
You just dot the i's and cross the t's.
    I am here

White is a lighter shade of Black.
Black a darker shade of White.
All we see though is each-other's back
What the hell are we doing?
    We're running out of time.
Someone has started drawing the line.
    I am here

You are my sister, you are my brother,
there is no difference, except in our minds,
    we can love one another!
    Take my hand.
    Together is the only way,
    so what do you say?
    I am here

***So I found another one I liked. It is crazy to read some of these works. SOme are really bad (No, I don't think I'll post any of those... well maybe...)***
