watching the clock
go round

Wondering when this all will change
Nothing does though
the clock goes
round

Somehow I believe
If I do nothing
Greatness will happen
Life will remove me from this place

Another day
And I sit
watching the clock
But something is different
with each
Tick
with each
Tock
My anger expands

I'm tired of sitting here
Tired of listing to everyone
Who do nothing
but watch the clock
go round

They sit
And wait for life to move them

And so I stand
watching the clock
go down
and down
and down
Off the wall
As I take a step
toward my life
