Buy another pill to keep you level
Force another sermon down my throat
Philosophical and scary
Tortured thoughts that you must bury
Is it me, myself that’s scary?
Or is this something I'm not supposed to know?

    god's name is smack for some...

    but this piece is open and honest...

    but who's burying what? the religious addict burying their thoughts of outward bound?

    or the chemical addict who buries themselves underneath the acetone and benzine dip of the needletip?

    who lives more? who attains the higher ground? who dies less lonely?
    I'm stepping in front of the gushing hydrant in a hurricane. I'd like to see the traction I keep.
