"Accidental Suicide"

some people don't understand this one. it makes perfect sense to me..of course I wrote it, but still. if you understand it, say something back..


you are my accidental suicide
I never meant to fall in love with you
you've killed me from the inside
so now what are you gonna do?
and I'd do it again
'cause pain reminds me how to stay alive
lift me up
as I bleed
looking down on you from the sky
I can still feel you
my accidental suicide

obviously, we're not meant to be
yet our hearts still intertwined
so won't you bleed with me?
won't you bleed with me one last time?
my accidental suicide

can you hear me scream out your name in the dark?
the faint last beats of this diminished heart?
your voice haunts my dreams
not enough strength to scream
will you at least hold my hand while I die?
my accidental suicide

Makes sense to me, that to give of oneself could be considered a death, a type of transformation. Now, as far as the suicide part - which is self directed death usually due to immense pain, the fact that it's accidental sort of implies that this main character is not taking responsibility for how much this person affects him/her. Or rather that the main character found out too late how much this person affects him/her. I'm getting confused trying to figure that part out. Accident and suicide don't usually go together maybe that's where I'm confused.

well, what I meant by the accidental part was, that the person fell in love with somebody. of course falling in with somebody isn't a choice, it just happens. you don't have control over your feelings, one (me) might say they're just accidental. and with the suicide part, the person not meaning to accidentally fell in love, and the pain from it killed her, on the inside. and since she's the one who fell in love, it was her doing. so, it was something she didn't plan, and it killed it. therefor, an accidental suicide
