St. Patrick's Day Eve is the perfect time to join NO CODE at Willie McBride's, the old-country Irish pub we call our Hoboken home. In a dual effort to (a) make our act more suitable for family viewing and (b) offer some valuable advice to our regular supporters, NO CODE are encouraging attendees to rock out with their SOCK out. Besides the fact that sock exposure is only mildly offensive to Grandma, this scenario presents the unique opportunity to practice resourcefulness while slowly destroying brain cells. We recommend that you remove the sweat-soaked, odor-infested item of clothing for use as a universally-accepted marker of reserved territory for when you resume your holiday reveling a few short hours later. This, our friends, is the very essence of GRUNGE -- and it's what NO CODE are all about. (We leave the further removal of undergarments to each individual's discretion.)

Date: FRIDAY, MARCH 16, 2007
Time: 10:30PM–2:30AM
Venue: Willie McBride's Pub
Address: 616 Grand Street (between 6th & 7th Streets), Hoboken, NJ
Tel: (201) 610-1522
Website: http://www.williemcbrides.com
Cover: $8
Info: Free limo shuttle service from anywhere in Hoboken! Visit website for details.

But what if you're among the masses of poor, unfortunate souls who need a PJ fix but can't make it out to Willie's? Fortunately for you, we have two equally exciting events scheduled in the next few weeks. Here's a look at our calendar:

SATURDAY, MARCH 31 – The Crossroads, Garwood, NJ
Special acoustic/electric performance with support from an outstanding local original act, Tom Vella and The Wayside

SATURDAY, APRIL 7 – Lion's Den, New York, NY
An 18+ Modern Rock Tribute Clique extravaganza that includes A Perfect Tool (Tool and A Perfect Circle), Negative Creep (Nirvana) and The Battle of Los Angeles (Rage Against the Machine)

We hope to see you at the shows!

-Tony

What a meaningful and insightful piece of writing. It evokes streams of reflection with a hint of personal evaluation and self-righteousness..
'I want to hurry home to you
put on a slow, dumb show for you
    and crack you up
so you can put a blue ribbon on my brain
    god I'm very, very frightening
    and I'll overdo it'
