i dreamt of sound inside an egg. but it wasnt there.

the sound of nothing.
"and then, one Thursday, nearly two thousand years after one man had been nailed to a tree for saying how great it would be to be nice to people for a change, a girl sitting on her own in a small cafe in Rickmansworth suddenly realized what it was that had been going wrong in the world all this time, and she finally knew how the world could be made a good and happy place. This time it was right and no one had to get nailed to anything. Sadly, before she could get to a phone to tell anyone about it, a terrible stupid catastrophe occurred, and the idea was lost forever."

  • For a second, I thought you said you'd dreamt of Sound inside an egg! I thought, "How'd Sound get inside an egg?"
    :D
    But yes...sound inside an egg...
Didn't Mork from Mork and Mindy come to earth in an egg? It'd be a great way to travel. Remember the phrase, "Go to work on an egg?" Well, going to work IN an egg would be even better...flying through the sky...you've have to rename traffic jams traffic yokes...you'd be avoiding crashes, that's for sure...and once in a while you'd get busted by the egg police, for keeping your foot down too hard on the cluck - er, I mean clutch ....

    i am nothing
It was a dream, not a nightmare. A beautiful dream I could never imagined in a thousand nods. I saw this girl next to me, she wasn't beautiful until she smiled. And I felt that smile come at me in heat waves following. Soaking through my body and out my finger tips in shafts of color. And I knew somewhere in the world, somewhere, that there was love for me.

    Story In Your Eyes
    The Moody Blues

I´ve been thinking about our fortune,
and I´ve decided that we´re really not to blame.
For the love thats deep inside us now, is still the same.
And the sound we make together,
is the music to the story in your eyes.
It´s been shining down upon you now, I realize.

Listen to the tide slowly turning,
    wash all our heartaches away.
We are part of the fire that is burning,
and from the ashes we can build another day.
But I´m frightened for your children,
and the life that we are living is in vain.
And the sunshine we´ve been waiting for,
    will turn to rain.

when the final line is over,
and it´s certain that the curtain´s gonna fall,
I can hide inside your sweet sweet love,
    forever more.

Listen to the tide slowly turning,
    wash all our heartaches away.
We are part of the fire that is burning,
and from the ashes we can build another day.
But I´m frightened for your children,
and the life that we are living is in vein.
And the sunshine we´ve been waiting for,
    will turn to rain.
