when you break a promise
someday the dusts settles
and everything is different
and you can't go back
because you failed yourself, first
you know it. they know it.
and it's done
you can't go back.

so the next time you make one
you do it, knowing
what it really means to
promise. it means hell
and it means high water

and you aren't afraid of either

karma dogs bite harder than most.

    One should never make a promise they can't keep. Dust in the eyes is no reason or excuse for lies. :)
