i miss san francisco
the way you miss the idea of california
the only stars i see in the city are headlight shakes and nothing pierces my eyes that's worth keeping around, around here.

on some bonus track, some blues singers b-sides
theres a hidden lyric more wavy than my philosophy,
more simplistic and pertinent to my ever maritime desire to leave.
sweet something, there's a place somewhere beyond the one and the two
that if i slow down a bit i might just catch a glimpse of between mountains, shrugged in the cleavage of the earth as a ring.

parking lot shadows have my night so lately i've been taking these hour long showers at four a.m. hoping to shake the past loose from my hour. the nighttime from that which grows even if I'd never ask.

Mitch Hedberg- RIP 1968-2005. your jokes have laughed me through a lot. I thank you.

I don't know what this one means, but I still like the sound of it. :)
