I sure do hope that tweeter decides to migrate to the midwest sometime this year. I'd love to have a sighting in mid to later summer. I hear that Alpine Valley is a great place to bird watch.

    Actually the birds were out in full force this morning (finally getting a little warmer!)....I couldn't get back to sleep after my kickboxing class at 5am.....I kept listening for the distinct tweet tweet.








    I'm sure I heard one say Alpine Valley though.

    I believe I spotted 5-6 birds flying by, all with the distinct call of Alpine Valley, Alpine Valley. They also mentioned something about staying in Wisconsin too long one year. They hadn't left by early October and lived through an event called the..... what was it..... oh yeah, the ICE BOWL!!!!

    I could of swore a Magpie flew by today and said Red Rocks or Red cocks or Red Sox, something like that. My ears are listening for any and all birdies.

    I had a Magpie fly over me the other day. It pooped on my shoulder and it spelled out PJ. Must be a sign of more squawking and tweety bird news.

    I just watched Hitchcock's "The Birds" last night and I'm so freaked out that I am asking the mods to delete this thread so I don't have to see that word.
