the same somewhat new thoughts

I sit here more confused than I perhaps have ever been
I can’t really remember or make sense of it all

Last night my tongue got stuck inbetween syllables
After I finally realized that the past 4 years
All I have been able to muster out of my mouth
Are new words for the same old feelings

The fact that I think you hate me
Makes me want you even more

I am a walking mirage.

You see, every time I speak
If you listen behind my words
You can hear my lust
And love and longing
And pain and sorrow
And wonder and awe
I swear I show it with each syllable
Why is it that you have yet to see?

truly thanks a lot Indifferent One. I appreciate the comments on my poems and the advice you give to me.

Secondly, althought I haven't commented on your poems (I dont really comment on any), I have truly enjoyed your writing. Both "your eyes despise" and "I known that you're crying" were terrific and very thoughtful and passionate.

So I thank you for reading my writing and also for putting your wonderful writings on here. Thanks man.

Something a male might think is coming across loud and clear might not be coming across as clear (or at all) to a female.
