she has come to realize
that her useful lie
helps more than
the horrid truth.
she has been pushed out of the world
that she saw as perfect
and spends her days comparing.
i tell her she is more beautiful than she can imagine.
but she doesnt believe me, not because of insecurities
but because lying is a part of her.
and now a part of me.
if i could wish one thing, it would be for tickets
for a one way ride back to her heaven.
or atleast make her as happy as she was then.
but i cant do that, i am only human
and my feeble strength will not even crack her wall.
