I've got a fever and the only cure is more Pearl Jam... Dyin' for another leg to be announced and hoping that it involves the midwest. Please please please. Ok. I've reduced myself to pleading. Oh well.

Alpine, Red Rocks, Gorge... the best venues in the US, why not play there if they let you PEarl Jam?
If you play there, we will come!

I'm thinking they just want to get their heads together for a bit and play before they go into the studio to record the next album so they are fresh for the process.

Im not trying to start an argument, really, but I have been to MSG, and yes it's in NYC and so many great shows have been played there by lots of bands, but really, the "Best" venue--I guess to each there own- I think its more NYC pride that makes it the best venue than the building itself....

go to the gorge and try to tell me its not the best place to see pearl jam. I would gladly trade my msg tickets for tickets to the gorge again

I was half kidding. But you cant deny the fact that bands try to step it up when they take the stage at the Garden.

I'd love to see some shows in San Francisco and Seattle. I plan to go back to Seattle, and I really want to visit San Francisco. Seeing PJ out there would make it extra special. :)

New album is always good. But another tour where we hear 6 or 7 new songs each show. No thank you. I'd love a two nite stand at either Alpine or Red Rocks. :D
  • No offense, Pat, but I would rather have them go into the studio. I would much rather hear 6 or 7 new songs each show than the same old ones.

AND if they have new material to play, they may get the juices flowing and wanna bust out No Way or Who You Are or some other super rare song that hasn't been played in a while.

I like that they are touring just to play. It is cool hearing the new stuff, but without an albulm, who knows what they are going to play? We may hear some songs we never thought would make it back on the setlist.

I know what you mean and I agree with you.

It did get kinda boring hearing some of the new ones each nite. But whatever they do I'll still smile and be happy about it. :)

id rather see 6 or 7 new songs that I havent heard before then the usual suspects personally, in 06 the new songs got me pumped man especially Marker, severed hand and Cooooooomatose!!!

i also kinda agree with this too, look at the 05 tour without an album to support those shows were epic.

I think 05 was kind of a Vitalogy support since that came out 12/04, but they were great shows.

I think they'll have a lot more freedom to play what they want which should hopefully lead to some really cool shows. We'll see...

Thank you, the highlight of the new tour in 06 was the strenght of the new material live. Inside Job, MITS, WWS,Severed, Life Wasted and Comatose were all very energetic. The aggressiveness of the new album made the shows more rockin' than usual. I mean look at their second encores from the 1st leg. They have never shredded that consistently before.
